Ancasta Yachts

Aspire London was commissioned to produce a new website for Southampton based Ancasta Yachts. The site is an online showroom for it's high end boats. This was a fairly complex website to build.

Visitors can download brochures for each yacht as well as viewing multiple photographs of each brand and model, look up the company's international locations, boat prices and information for ordering a custom built yacht.

Martin Terefe

Martin Terefe is a music producer < songwriter based in West London at his custom built studio at Kensaltown Records. We had a great time working on this project and the challenges that arose.

The website shows Martin's complete discography, posted news, music tracks, session photos and much more. The site is fully updatable as this was a huge part of the brief. Martin wanted a simple solution that anyone could use to update the site regularly.

StarCities

StarCities, a property investment firm based in Manhatten NY, needed a fast, simple and elegant site to showcase their place in the luxury property market. This project was completed with Lyndsay Lucero, after her finalised design files were sent to us for building. The final animations, user interface and movement, were all added in by ourselves during the coding and build stage.

The Keys At Quinta

We worked closely with Rareform London on this project, after being sent the completed design layout. The project was well under way and had to be finished on a set deadline, with strict guidelines. Working as the architects for the entire site, we were able to provide the finishing touches in the sites animations and interactivity. The site was completed to an extremely high level, with web standards and search engine optimisation being key factors in the coding.

Sacha Skarbek

This was a project for a songwriter/producer over in West London. Sacha Skarbek is a very successful songwriter who co-wrote much of James Blunt's first album. He has gone on to work with Adele, Duffy, Tristan Prettyman, Jason Mraz and many more artists. This website needed to be quick and easy to navigate but also needed to be very easy to update. A flash music player is built into the site but does not autoplay. Instead it is down to the viewer to switch on the music if they want to. Too many websites blare out loud music at you, as soon as the page loads in. The usual list of technologies used below.

Francisco Soeiro

Site designed for professional photographer Francisco Soeiro. Brief was to create a straight forward site for Francisco to maintain his portfolio. Francisco has some great photographs which were divided into the appropriate sections. We used javascript to scroll between the galleries and to give a small preview of their content. We also implemented a CMS system so Francisco could upload, arrange, delete and manage his own galleries. The site is clean and simple, which frames the photographs so they standout from the page.

Damian Griffiths

Site designed for artist and designer Damian Griffiths. Brief was 'simple', but at the same time we wanted to avoid the poor font choices and layout pitfalls of bland simplicity. We used javascript and flash to combine all the galleries into one single layout that could be flicked between. Hidden links and terms sections also help to give the impression of emtpy simplicity.

Kid Circus

Dirty design for the playful DJ Kid Circus. Original idea was to totally transform the previous design ideas. We wanted impact, playfulness and usability. Michael wanted it to be easy to navigate and hence all the content is loaded into one single frame and the user just moved around within it.

Bikram Yoga

A project completed for Bikram yoga in the Netherlands, a yoga studio teaching Bikram Yoga. This was a project developed from an original Flash based website. The transition allowed the integration of AJAX and other new web technologies.

Chateau Monfreville

Website for a B&B in Normandy. We wanted to give the site a rustic feel without limiting the site to broadband users. The Normandy area and the Chateau speak for themselves in this site. A old school site with booking system for guests.

About Us

Well... Aspire was established in 2006 by Ed Allen after working freelance for a few design companies. Aspire has since gone on to recruit Alan Sherwood and Will Allen.

Aspire now works for a wide range of clients from all over the UK and beyond.

Together we have worked on web sites for artists, photographers, beauty experts, producers, songwriters and print design for the ACB, Smith Osborne Associates, Bruce Parry, Survival International, bars and nightclubs. We are always happy with a challenge.

We specialise in both web and print media, and have a fair few years of experience working closely with both clients and printers, and have a good understanding of both the commercial value of design and of the art/design aesthetics.
